Before majoring in mathematics, A.J. Fish hiked through controlled burns in Yosemite Valley as a college intern forestry major.

Next she graduated with a bachelor's in math with a computer science concentration.

Eight years into working for Silicon Valley startups, A.J. took courses in newswriting and reported for two years at city papers. Then she returned to startup life to work with this exciting new technology now known as "ad tech". She is now contracting and writing a book about privacy , due to be out in December 2021.
